Barb has been employed for several years by the Saint John Regional Library in various positions and currently manages Information Technology and Branch Development. She is a graduate of UNB and has a Master's in Library Science from Simmons College in Boston.
Interests include equestrian sports, canines, felines, computers, growing catnip and reading just about anything and everything. Favourite authors this week include: Lillian Jackson Braun, Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler, Robert Ludlum and Elizabeth Peters. Favourite non-fiction book this week is Silicon Snake Oil by Clifford Stoll
Rakker is an eleven year old Dutch Barge Dog. He graduated from obedience school and can spell "walk", "treat" and "biscuit" ! He is a gourmand with a strong preference for Bavarian Chocolate Torte - lectures on the evils of chocolate for dogs have made no impression! He also likes designer hats.
Rakker (Dutch for "imp") is currently saving his allowance for his own internet account so that he can spend his days reading and downloading recipes and coercing his aunt and uncle (both are gourmet cooks) into the kitchen with his requests.
