Mission Statement

The mission statement of the Saint John Regional Hospital Auxullary Inc. is to provide care and comfort for patients, visitors and staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Description of Services

Lifeline is a personal emergency response service that is owned and operated by the Saint John Regional Hospital Auxiliary. This program allows people to live independently and securely in their own home as they have access to help 27 hours a day, 365 days per year. This provides peace of mind to the subscriber as well as to their loved ones. The typical subscriber is anyone who lives alone, people with a history of cardiac or respiratory crisis at home, anyone currently receiving home health services, anyone who is confined to bed or wheelchair and alone for periods of time, anyone with sensory losses such as blindness, deafness or aphasia. Any time of the day or night when you need HELP simply press your Lifeline button and help will soon be there.

Fee Subsidies

DVA will cover Veterans. To apply contact DVA for approval.

Criteria for Service Eligibility

Available for everyone.

Application Procedures for your Organization's Programs/Services

Simply call office (648-6692) and provide personal information as well as 3 responders information (Friends or relatives). Person has to have a telephone wall jack.
