College studies concentrated on many business courses : Communications, Business Math, Accounting, Stastics, Small Business Management (Finance), Business Management,Business Law, Marketing, System Analysis and Design, Hardware, Internet, WAN and LAN. For software my college studies concentrated in the use of: WordPerfect 6.0, Quattro Pro 6.01, dBase V, ACCPAC, DOS, Lotus 1-2-3, and Visual Basics. Also, for a class project, we designed a Web Page for Saint John Freenet.
I was a telemarketer for a branch of Filter Queen. I was responsible for a number of activities. I had to effectively write and call upon surveys, I had to promptly set up numerous appointments for the sales people, and I had to look after answering the main phone lines.
I was a cook for Pizza Delight McAllister Place. I was responsible for preparing numerous food items that were on the menu, as well as items that were not displayed on the menu. I was also responsible for closing at night, which included, maintance duties in the kitchen, and making sure that everything was ready for the morning shift.
I was a cook and waitress for Pizza Delight Loch Lomand Road. I was responsible for preparing numerous food items that were on the menu, as well as, items that were not displayed on the menu. I dealt with the public in two different ways; serving meals to the customers, and working in cash management.
For the summer, I did a little catering for my aunt. I was responsible for serving people their meals promptly and accurately. Also, I helped with the maintance duties.
For seven years I volunteered in doing the bingo's. I volunteered for CYO and the Knights of Columbus. My duties included: selling bingo cards to the customers, working in the canteen, and dealing with large amounts of cash at a time, also, I dealt with the public (bingo players).
