ADDICTION SERVICES - REGION II HOSPITAL CORPORATION

Ridgewood offers a broad range of services and programs to chemically dependent individuals, compulsive gamblers and their families.

Outpatient - confidential assessment , consultation and family counselling is provided to clients of all ages by professional social workers on an outpatient basis. In addition, a variety of educational and therapeutic groups are offered to outpatient clients.

Detox - The detox unit is staffed by nurses and attendants. It provides a safe withdrawal from mood altering chemicals, a stable environment in crisis and motivation towards recovery.

Rehab - For those requiring more intensive treatment the 4 week residential rehab program gives the client the knowledge, skills and insight required to live a drug free healthy life. The program includes instruction in stress management, fitness, leisure activities, nutrition and healthy interpersonal relationships. Programs designed specifically to meet the needs of women are offered at regular intervals.

Prevention and Education - The Community Services Unit develops and implements prevention and education initiatives. Target groups include the educational and health care systems, business industry and special needs groups such as seniors, youth and the disabled. A Referral Agents Course is offered to businesses establishing Employee Assistance Programs.

Lonewater Farm - Lonewater Farm offers long term care to chemically dependent male clients.
