Mission Statement

The K. C. F. R. C. has been developed under the sponsorship of the Sussex Community Resource Coalition. The Mission Statement of the coalition is ""To promote the optimum emotional, intellectual and physical well-being of families and child care providers of children between 0-6 years by supporting and promoting the development and enhancement of community support.

Description of Services

Drop in Play area for children 0-6 years, including an Infant & Quiet Corner, active areas, crafts etc.

Cosy Corner for families/caregivers to socialize.

Parenting Resoure Library: Books & Videos on parenting issues available. Brochures and hand-out info.

Toy Lending Library: Books, Toys and Videos on a loan basis through a membership plan.

Parent Talks and Workshops

Craft and Music Programs for Toddlers and thier parents.

Outreach Programs, Kings County Family News, Group Get Together Service.

Throughout Kings County, Hampton and Smith Creek

Meeting Places, Times, & Special Events

Regular drop-in hours for parents/caregivers and children. Summer hours, Mon - Thurs 10:00-1:00, Sat 10:00-12:00. Fall hours will increase. For other support groups meetings and times please contact office at 506-433-2349.
