Mission Statement
- The Kindness Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to humane education. It was founded in New Brunswick, Canada, in 1959 by the late Honourable Hugh John Flemming's wife, Mrs. Aida Flemming. The Club focuses on Dr. Albert Schweitzer's philosophy, "Reverence for life, both human and non-human." The prime goal of the Club is to teach children and adults to be kind to animals and people, and to respect the environment.
Description of Services
- Annual writing and essay contest in New Brunswick schools (grades 4-8)
"Animal Ambassadors" Presentation Program (topics include, but not limited to: dog bite prevention, kindness to animals, pet care)
