Mission Statement

Grand Parents Day is law as of Oct 1995
Second Sunday of September, Our national organization played part in getting a Federal Bill Passed

Description of Services

Support System: Advise grandparents of experience other members have gone through.
Best Interest of the Child: Child's well being is our group's main interest. Grandparents play a very large part in the up bringing of the child.
Mediator: Our aim is to keep communication lines open less expensive than courts and lawyers.
Public Education: Awareness of the importance of grandparents to stabalize child's life when parents are going thru divorce.
Prevention: Educate the family of importance of having a family unit.
Changes to Law: Had changes passed in provincal to recognize grand parents. Federal Bill's being worked on to give grand parents chance to be recognized in divorce court.
Criteria for Service Eligibility
No age limit or financial restrictions.
