Mission Statement

To improve, restore, and/or maintain the mental health and emotional well-being of the citizens of Saint John County and it's surrrounding areas

Description of Services

A wide range of services are available for children adults and seniors with a mental illness or who are experiencing a mental health problem that is causing difficulties in their daily living. Services are prioritized according to severity and urgency of need. Services include individual, family and/or group interventions; consultation/liasons with other professionals; psychoeducational and community development programs. Refferal may be made by self, family, friend, family doctor, school, court, or other agencies. Services are free confidential and on request bilingual. Services are available on a 24 hour basis at the same number.

Must be a mental Health Issue

Application Procedures for your Organization's Programs/Services

Any person needing service must go through the Intake service which directs the individual to the service which most appropriately meets their needs.

""Community Crusaders"" - a skate to care team, starts fundraising activities in the fall for the skate in February 1997.
