Mission Statement
- Amana House provides a recovery home program to women who are chemically dependent, which may include counselling, group sessions, education sessions, and referral to outside agencies.
- These services are offered to outside agencies. These services are offered to ensure full recovery for those women experiencing difficulties with addiction to alcohol and/or drugs.
Description of Services
- Amana House is a long-term, residential program for women recovering from chemical dependency, and other addictions such as gambling, addictive relationships, adult child issues, and abuse issues. Amana House provides supportive services and allows women adequate time to effect initial recovery, and acquire new ideas and insights to allow the women to take responsibility for their lives upon returning to their community. Provides shelter, support and guidance for women through an intensive structured program aimed at assisting with special needs in recovery.
