Mission Statement
- To develop societal awarness of the seriousness of alergie disease, including asthma, and to enable allergic individuals, their families and care givers, to increase control over allergy symptomsby providing leadership in information, education, advocacy, in partnership with healthcare professionals, business, industry and government.
Description of Services
- The Allergy/Asthma Information Association (AAIA) is a national organization dedicated to helping allergic individuals and families cope with everything from the sniffles and snuffs of hay fever to life threatening food allergies and asthma. Allergies are a disease affecting more than four million Canadians. Although some allergies are more serious than others, each one puts limits on the life of the individual suffurer. The AATA exists to help you find the most effective way to tackle your allergy problems.
- Aaea is not able to offer diagnosis or cures. What we do offer is a sympathetic ear an accurate, update information to help you understand your allergy condition.
