Mission Statement

Our Mission as ambassadors for Christ, is to respond in prayer and action to God's love, by offering ourselves in worship and service through sharing his love and compassion with each other, our neighbourhood and beyond.

Description of Services

Trinity Church offers both spiritual and secular help to those in need. An active prayer chain is in place to provide an oppurtunity for the offering of special prayers for those who request them: (prayer request cards are available from the office or in the church). Food vouchers are issued twice a week to those who are unable to provide food for their families; and parishioners donate gifts of food for the Community Food Basket on a regular basis.

Trinity Church welcomes visitors to worship and to view this beautiful example of early English Gothic architecture. The parish was established in 1783 with the arrival of the Empire Loyalists and the present structure replaced one which was destroyed in the Great Fire of Saint John in 1877. It houses not only the coat of arms brought by the Empire Loyalists and the George III Communion silver (some of which date back to 1694, given to the parish in 1790) but also stained glass windows which are comparable with those in famous churches and cathedrals throughout the world.
