Workshop Schedule
There have been many requests to provide a more detailed schedule for the workshop. The steering committee will make the final decisions next week. But for now, the rough schedule will look like this:

Saturday
morning - Community Development Sessions
afternoon - Business Planning and Development Sessions

Sunday

All day - Sustainability Sessions (ie- how the sustain an Access Site)

Workshop Dates

Feedback was given in regards to possibly changing the date of the workshop to November 1-2 (Friday-Saturday), instead of the initial November 2-3. This option is open for discussion and could be changed to accomodate.

How many can come?

Some were wondering how many participants from a site can come to the workshop. Well, as many as you like.

Who've been contacted

Within the past week, I've sent a fax to all of the existing sites in NB (Our primiary focus) and sent a message around on various mailing lists to any interested (our secondary focus). Reaction to the workshop has been encouraging, but for our planning purposes, we need a realistic estimate of interesred sites and/or individuals that plan to attend the workshop. A phone call (506-454-4597) or an email ( jimcyr@nbnet.nb.ca ) to the workshop co-ordinator would be appreciated.

NB sites will get another fax (not as long) and mailing lists will get a message to come here.

Meals during the workshop
Lunch and nutrition breaks will be provided on Saturday and Sunday.

No change in workshop dates
It was suggested that the dates for the workshop be moved back one day (ie-november 1-2 instead of november 2-3). We checked, and it was not possible. So the dates for the workshop are November 2-3.

Are you getting the info?
Packages have been faxed to all existing NB Access Sites. A follow-up has been sent today. If you did not receive any of the faxes yet, contact jimcyr@nbnet.nb.ca ASAP. An on-line version of the first package will be available by the weekend.

Do I owe?
There was some confusion on the registration form. The registration fee was $75, but there was still the GST on top of that. It wasn't made clear on the registration forms. Sorry. So, that means that people still owe a few dollars in uncollected GST. Contact Shawn Perry (506)459-0215 to make arrangements.
